When you work with a full Wedding Planner, you will want to engage their services soon after getting engaged, this way you will have their help as you navigate all of the planning and designing of your wedding day. But when should you hire your On the Day Coordinator?
You might have thought you could leave hiring on the day help until just a few weeks out from your wedding day, but there is a better way.
At the I Do Crew if you do decide at the last minute that some help is going to make a difference to your enjoyment of the day you can book us if we have availability. But, to get the full benefit of On the Day Coordination & Styling/Set up, most Coordinators, including us, recommend that you book at least 6-8 months in advance of your wedding. In fact, some of our couples book 12 months and more in advance (as soon as they start planning their wedding). The added bonus of doing this, is that you get your preferred choice of Coordinator too.
It’s true, we won’t start working intensely with you until about the 6 week mark, when we have our in-depth planning/handover meeting with you. However, our service allows for you to lean on our expertise throughout your wedding planning – from the moment you become our client. We can help with planning questions along the way and Vendor recommendations if you need them. We will also check in with you regularly to ensure everything is on track.
In addition to this, at the I Do Crew we give our couples who book with us in advance access to our online wedding planning system. Our online planning system will help to make your wedding planning organised and streamlined and includes: a comprehensive wedding planning checklist, RSVP management, styling and Runsheet tools and you can even use it to set up your wedding website! And when it comes time to hand over your wedding coordination to us, it is all in one convenient place.
If you would like to find out more about the type of help we can give you on your wedding day, we would love to chat with you. You will find more information about how to contact us here.
Happy Wedding Planning!
